This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
howdy yall. been darn near a year since i was here last. lots happend since then i tell ya what. ive moved to indianapolis for school, i m going to lincoln tech for automotive technology. still plannin on art college but im gonna use the mechanical skills to get money to pay for art school. ill probably be posting several of my latest peices here untill i can get a new computer and then build up a brand new spiffy website. so yah. check out my new stuff if yall want.
I found your piece "Dark Army Vision" and wanted to ask if we could make a non-exclusive licensing agreement for it.
My name is Scott Reimers. I have designed a card game and the time has come to print beta cards. I do not have money for an upfront licensing fee, but have three income streams planned directly related to your art:
1) We will print and sell an unlimited number of Basic Cards with a 2¢ Royalty, up to 10,000 Master Cast Cards with a 10¢ Royalty and up to 1000 Wonder Cast Card with a $4.00 Royalty. 2) We are forming a website magewarscardgame.com and will sell player subscriptions and merchandise (T-Shirts, Posters, Cups and so on) regarding each card and its art. We will handle all of the product issues (manufacturing, shipping, returns and so on) and would like to split profits 50/50 with you for any merchandise we sell which include your art in whole or part. If you are feeling creative we would be glad to work with you to design the best possible merchandise so we sell as much as possible. 3) We have plans to produce computer games which will use your art as well and the contract covers how you would have a share of the profits.
The contract will allow you to receive products at our production cost for your use/resale (Making money off of signed merchandise anyone?)
Again, we are asking for a non-exclusive agreement. We are not asking for your original(s) and of course you would be free to use your art in any other way you wish in the future.
We would like to setup a long term arrangement. The way the game is designed often a single card will have multiple different pieces of art over its lifetime, and while we currently have about 400 designed cards we are expecting about 5000 different cards to be created over the course of the next 10 years.
In the next couple months the website will start coming together and it would be my honor to give you a free subscription to see the game and decide if you are willing to grant a license and/or work with us in the future.
Finally, until you decide regarding the license which I have included as an attachment, may I have permission to use the art in the final stages of our alpha testing before the website goes live and printing begins?
Thank you for your time, Scott Reimers 775-722-6317
I'm sorry, I created a form letter to ask permission because there are so many persons to ask permission from. There are obviously no "attachments" available with a comment. You can find the details and a copy of the license at [link]
Thanks and my apologies, Scott Reimers 775-722-6317
